About Me

I’m a software engineer. I work on performance, reliability, and efficiency. I’ve also worked on developer tooling in JavaScript, Python, and Rust. The opinions stated here are my own, not those of my employer.

Back in 2017, I wrote an article entitled Objective-C Implementation and Performance Details for C and C++ Programmers.

In a past life, I was a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Michigan studying computer security. My advisor was Professor J. Alex Halderman. Publications I worked on included a security analysis of India’s electronic voting machines, an analysis of the Green Dam Censorware System, and some fun with crawling BitTorrent DHTs.
